                                      today we learned what perseverance.

What is perseverance and why should kids want it? Kids might be surprised to hear that perseverance (also called grit) is really important for living a life they enjoy and can be proud of. Why? Because life is full of challenges and struggles. Perseverance is the drive that helps you get past the hard stuff to get to what you want. Without perseverance, you won’t get far in life.

What is the definition of perseverance?

erseverance is the ability and self-control that pushes you to work through challenges. Having perseverance means that when you are facing a challenge, you use your mind and your body to overcome it. Perseverance means you are able to wait and work through difficulties, whether they have to do with your mind, your body, or your emotions.

It’s important to point out that the definition of perseverance is not “don’t give up no matter what” or “never quit”. Sometimes you’ll do your best but it will still be time to move on to a different goal. However, perseverance is the ability to do your best toward a goal, even though it’s a big challenge.

Being resilient does not mean that people don't experience stress, emotional upheaval, and suffering. Being connected to others. ... Being flexible. ...Being able to make realistic plans and take action to carry them out. ...Being able to communicate well with others and problem-solve both individually and with others. ...Being able to manage strong feelings. ...Being self-confident. Being able to find purpose and meaning.

Identify the problem

We have been learning what to do when we get into a problem.
First, we IDENTIFY the problem.
Then DEVELOP a plan for a solution.
Then we EXECUTE the plan.
Last we ASSESS if we've solved the problem.
